Sorkin Fest: A Celebration of Genius
Prompt Submissions
24th-Jan-2008 01:09 pm
Every great fic must start out with an idea. This post, the prompts collection post, aims to do just that. The rules are incredibly simple:

1). Anyone can submit prompt ideas. You don't have to plan on writing a fic either. But if you have an idea you'd like to share, hand it over, hehe.

2). All genres of prompts are acceptable. That means het, gen, slash, threesomes, sci-fi, medical drama, etc. Sorkin's awesomeness will translate to any genre.

3). You may submit as many prompts as you like. Take as many posts as you want/need.

4). When submitting prompts, you MUST specify if its for Sports Night, The West Wing or Studio 60. If you don’t, your prompt won’t be used. Sorry.

Example Prompts:

· Sports Night: Dan Casey’s first broadcast goes horribly wrong.
· The West Wing: They successfully tempt the wrath of the whatever from high atop the thing
· Studio 60: Tom decides to keep the lobster suit.

Comment in this post with your ideas. We will remain open for prompts until April 8, 2008.

Please remember that this post is NOT for claiming prompts; that will come after the mods sort through the prompts and make a pretty list of all the ideas we've received.

I only know STUDIO60 from Sorkin - TWW is on my list, but I just don't have time yet ;) - so it's all S60 for me. I'd like to see some Jack, for we don't really have a lot of fics about him, unless it's him and Jordan, so...

STUDIO 60 - Jack and Marylyn, the night they got separated (big fight, an honest talk, she simply left, whatever you want).
STUDIO 60 - Some background on Jack.
STUDIO 60 - the five interviews for Jordan to get her job - non Jack/Jordan relationship, please.
STUDIO 60 - Jordan leaves Becky with Jack. Danny is mad and worried - and jealous when he realizes Becky likes uncle Jackie.
STUDIO 60 - The fight with the FCC is wearing Jack out (heart attack, seeking help, drinking, angsty, something like that).
STUDIO 60 - Simon is in need of a new wing man and Jack is the last single guy he knows. Too bad Simon didn't ask permission before taking him to hang out.
STUDIO 60 - Jack/Mary Tate

okay, I'll probably think of some more... :)
